Print & Web Graphic Design Internship
Position Location: Toronto, Ontario
Dates: September 1 - December 20, 2013
Reader’s Digest Media is offering an unpaid internship. Interns work Mondays to Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position works closely with the Integrated Marketing Solutions team. The intern will gain experience in the design, production and execution of mockups, advertorials, web and social media design, presentations and in-house sales promotion material for our magazine brands and online properties.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Secondary school diploma and a minimum 2 year graphic design / web design experience at a post-secondary level.
High degree of creative art ability; Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash); PowerPoint; Typesetting and printing; Initiative, proactive with a keen sense of responsibility; Open to new concepts and ideas; Flexibility to receive and evaluate differing opinions; Ability to handle many projects at the same time and work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.

An online or emailable portfolio containing minimum 8 to 10 pieces that reflects your creative ability and range of style, with focus on editorial and advertising samples must be submitted for review.
