Candidate will join a global leading, award-winning team delivering enterprise implementation, training and support services using Microsoft BizTalk Server to Tier 1 and 2 clients in retail, manufacturing, distribution, CPG, utility, media and healthcare industries.
Candidate must have experience in Designing, Developing, Deploying, Configuring, Maintaining and Integrating high-volume Enterprise Messaging Solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 release or higher.
Candidat e will be responsible for developing enterprise-class A2A & B2B solutions and providing support for clients using BizTalk Tools and Technologies including:
o Creating Schemas;
o Creating Maps;
o Deploying a BizTalk Project.
Routing BizTalk Messages
o Creating Pipelines;
o Integrating with Adapters.
BizTalk Related Development Tasks
o Creating a BizTalk Orchestration;
o Automating Business Processes;
o Creating Transactional Business Processes;
o Deploying and Managing BizTalk Applications;
o Integrating with Web Services;
o Integrating Business Rules;
o Monitoring Business Activity;
o Integrating with Trading Partners;
Using BizTalk Trading Partner Management (TPM) module;
o BizTalk component development.
BizTalk Production Support
o Supporting BizTalk Production Support Error Handling Tasks;
o Troubleshooting BizTalk transaction processing errors;
o Issue resolution;
Assisting Application Production Support team by doing the following:
Become proficient in QL’s file processing system environment;
Familiarizing oneself with the types of error messages from QL’s file processing system including BizTalk exception messages;
Learning QL’s SaaS/Hosted BizTalk EDI processing environment;
Using T-SQL (read-only access) to identify the nature of errors;
Monitoring exception messages from QL file processing system;
Reporting abnormal messages (i.e. warning messages) to Team Leader;
Once candidate has proven the ability to support QL’s SaaS/Hosted BizTalk EDI Production environment independently, candidate will engage in client testing and rollout processes;
Investigating error messages and informing findings to QL Customer Support team;
Maintaining documentation current for error handling instructions for each new error type encountered;
Other business related tasks include:
o Business/project analysis and documentation;
o System design and documentation;
o Collaborate with other teams in the organization;
o Track and log work activities & hours in QL Time Tracking system on a weekly basis;
o Deal with customers’ in the solution and support of their services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years software development experience using Microsoft .NET Framework;
3+ years working experience developing solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 release or higher;
1 or more project working experiences developing a solution using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010;
3+ years using BizTalk Adapters – BizTalk out-of-the-box adapters as well as writing custom adapters;
3+ years using Business Activity Monitoring (BAM);
3+ years working experience developing applications on Microsoft SQL Server database platform, writing stored procedures and using T-SQL language;
University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related course;
Works cohesively in a team environment;
Task-focused and self-reliant in completing assigned work tasks;
Strong English language verbal communication skills.
Microsoft BizTalk Certification strongly preferred;
Microsoft MCP, MCSD, MCDBA Certifications preferred;
Enhancing application functionality using custom coding – strong .NET app dev experience;
Experience with Microsoft BizTalk ESB and HIS Toolkits;
Experience with messaging standards for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) using the following standards: X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA and HL7;
Experience working with source control software (MS VSS or TFS).
