Manageslegal business matters pertaining to the organizationaccording to detailed internal policy and regulation of the Company. Provides a variety of general corporate and commercial legal management services inrernally tothe Company. Acts as coordinator to procure local lawyers to addresslegal issues involving the organization’s government and regulatory compliancein strict accordance with the Company internal policies and regulations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To coordinate in letting qualified lawyers provide legal advice for all the different departments within the Company.
To review and draft the contract templates for the daily operation of the company, i.e. sales agreements, purchase agreements, distribution agreements, service agreements, license agreements, NDAs, etc.in accordance with the Company internal policies and regulations.
To review and draft various commercial agreements aforesaid for the company.
To take part in agreement negotiation.
To instruct, follow and apply the corporate policies to the negotiations of principal agreements, and report contract terms beyond one’s authorization to the higher level.
To procure the Legal Compliance respecting the local laws of each country. In case of a non compliance situation report to the local management (General Director) and copy to the regional Legal Director.
Be the first contact of the company and instruct external lawyers and internal departments to answer the various investigations conducted by governmental authorities any events concerning the staffs (‘EMERGENT EVENTS ’)
Be the first contact of the company in case of a legal claim or lawsuit in order to try to solve the problem or to reach a settlement agreement.
To coordinate and manage external lawyers to deal with law suit or settlement negotiations involving the company.
To conduct, or manage and instruct external lawyers to conduct legal research in various areas of law.
To conduct various legal training, or arrange external lawyers to conduct legal training for executives, managers and employees, some of which are mandatory.
