Litigation Assistant for a in-house legal department, professional services firm. Will be providing legal and administrative support in house counsel. Duties include preparing memoranda, correspondence, and presentation materials, preparing legal documents such as motion records, affidavits of documents, booksof authorities, and mediation briefs, arranging for service and filing of legal documents, and maintaining files and calendars. Candidate should have a college legal administration certificate from community college or equivalent work experience, minimum of 3 years of work experience in a litigation practice, and proficiency in Word and Outlook. Some knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is also an asset. Must be able to work independently, have proven time management skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
