DESCRIPTION:

Today Springco Inc. is known globally as a leader in the production of compression, extension, torsion, regulator and constant force springs as well as assemblies.

Springco Inc. is currently looking for a Shipping and Receiving Assistant. This is a permanent position and training will be given to the right candidate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior Shipping and Receiving experience a requirement
• Must be a team oriented individual able to work with others or on your own
• Able to lift up to 40lb repeatedly
• Forklift experience would be an advantage
• Computer literate
• Be fluent in English
• Must have high attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiv e raw materials and components form sub contractors
• Placing raw materials and goods into inventory
• Issuing & receiving raw materials to the shop floor
• Packing springs and components for shipment to customers
• Placing packed springs and components into inventory
• Preparing shipments from inventory for delivery
• Use computer, weighing and measurement equipment to perform job tasks
